About Us

Kia Puāwai’s journey began in 1997.

Today, our therapists, practitioners, coaches and caregivers continue to make a significant difference in the lives of tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and their communities throughout Aotearoa – helping them grow, flourish and thrive.

Our Manawa

Our manawa - our heart - flows through the fabric of our organisation, in our name, vision, kaupapa, and tikanga. Waka hourua is the embedded expression of our manawa.

We have a highly skilled and passionate team of kaimahi and caregivers who come from a range of backgrounds, cultures, and disciplines. We seek out and celebrate a depth and richness of diversity of experiences, knowledge, world views, and individual differences as we believe this strengthens our collective mahi.
