Our NEET programme supports taiohi in the New Lynn and Waitakere areas on their education and career pathways, by helping with work and schooling decisions, goal setting, and seeking out job opportunities and community support.

What can I expect from the programme?
Through this programme, taiohi aged 16 and 17, will be supported to create and work on plans focused on:
Careers – sourcing the right training courses and employment avenues and seeking out work opportunities.
Creating a CV, preparing for interviews and developing effective communication skills.
Applying for and receiving the financial assistance you’re entitled to.
Learner licence training.
Tools, techniques, and mentorship to motivate, build confidence, manage time, deal with stress and achieve goals.
Building a network of support people.
