Kia Puāwai signs MoU with Ruapōtaka Marae

This week, Kia Puāwai reached a milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ruapōtaka Marae - one of the oldest mātāwaka marae in Tāmaki Makaurau. 

The marae provides a wide range of amazing community services into the suburbs Glen Innes, Panmure, and Pt England. Their community services work in collaboration with three Tāmaki iwi - Ngai Tai ki Tāmaki, Ngāti Paoa, and Ngāti Whātua. Our new partnership will enable us to work together to explore direct community referral pathways, and the possibility of a bespoke Family Functional Therapy service with a local community navigator. 

We were humbled to meet and connect with the talented kaimahi at Ruapōtaka Maraea and are looking forward to working together to achieve great outcomes for tamariki, rangatahi and whānau in the rohe a Tāmaki.
